Football Workshop - August 23rd, 2017
“On January 28, 2016 Montrose VA said yes to our vision to host Wellness Workshops for hospitalized Veterans. On August 23rd we hosted our largest event on Montrose VA campus. The VA band kept the heartbeat of the event by playing beautiful, inspiring and motivating music. The staff of volunteer services and the VA recreational leaders brought together the amazing Veterans we were blessed to play sports with for the afternoon. The Veterans were appreciative, competitive and smiling. It was an amazing day I will not forget. Thank you to our staff for making it all possible, you are there for our Nations Service Members every step of the way.”
