This documentary examines the reality of PTSD, following real American heroes as they delve into their real life stories and the struggles they’ve faced since reintegration into civilian life. There's a world out there where veterans are defenseless and so many times we just don’t see it. Gain first hand experience of the dark times veterans go through, through close friends, family and fellow soldiers who have fallen a victim.Follow us as we deliver a message to anyone who can identify with the battles of life after serving, loss of identity, and the invisible wounds of the soldier who is facing their demons alone.

We have hosted over 150 Wellness Workshops and have welcomed more than 5,000 Veterans to our programming

Our wellness workshops are designed for the veterans. Giving them the time that they fought for and deserve - to unwind, get fit, and share camaraderie with other veterans. Having the courage to leave an isolated place and come out to one of our events is a huge milestone. Everything after that is positive personal progress.

Play for Your Freedom is an official 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization based out of Newburgh, NY. Our primary focus is on our monthly Wellness Workshops conducted to better the lives of local hospitalized Veterans.

WHAT WE DO

We provide activities and programming to get the patients from the hospital involved no matter what their age or ability is. We do this with our monthly Wellness Workshops which involves group exercise, flag football, supportive discussion and camaraderie.

Wellness Workshops

No Matter What Age or Ability, There Is a Place in Our Workshops for You

Our football program has become our flagship event for local hospitalized Veterans. This event combines the excitement of being coached by NFL Alumni, exercising with your peers, and finishing the evening with a healthy dinner and live music. During dinner every Veteran is presented with a PFYF football helmet to have signed by the NFL Alumni.
